The Table
Less a networking event. More a living conversation.
Each Wabuni First Wednesday gathers a capped room of forty at the ArtCaffé Cellar on Rhapta Road — intimate by intention. Disciplines meet without hierarchy under the C.I.M.S. framework, with a High Table Talk at the centre of every evening.
We're small on purpose. Every artist on WSK is invited or applied-and-approved. Every work is reviewed before it goes live. Artists set their own prices and keep 70% on each sale, remitted via M-Pesa or bank.

The Convenor
Hosted by Peter Achayo.
Peter Achayo is a Nairobi-based curator and art writer who has spent years documenting and championing East Africa's contemporary art scene. He is the founder and publisher of WhatsArtNBO Journal and AfricanArtMatters, profiling the region's artists for international audiences.
He convenes Wabuni First Wednesday and its High Table Talk — a monthly room he describes as rich not only in talent but in people — building connective tissue across Nairobi's fragmented creative industries and amplifying the city's cultural soft power.
